Squiggles are the fun and sometimes spontaneous changes that have been made to the Young Cannibals logo to celebrate holidays, special events, and the birthdays of certain cartoonists. Partly inspired by Google's Doodles, the Squiggles run for a week on the site. This is a list of past Squiggles, and the dates that they ran.

This banner commemorated the Fourth of July, and ran from July 1 to July 5, 2013.

This one ran during Comic-Con's San Diego convention during the week of July 14 to July 21, 2013.

This ran in honor of Dave Stevens between July 29 to August 2, 2013.

We celebrated Jack Kirby's birthday, between August 25 to August 29, 2013.

Arg! Pirate Week was from September 16 to September to September 20, 2013.

This banner was in observation of Halloween, between October 28 to November 1, 2013.

This Valentine's Day inspired banner ran from February 10 to February 14, 2014.

This banner ran from February 24 to March 1, 2014, and was in commemoration of Steve Jobs' birthday. No doubt, he would have hated this and called me a bozo (or something worse).

This banner ran from March 17 to March 21, 2014. First day of Spring, yo.

This was for April Fools' Day (or is it April Fool's Day). It ran from March 31st to April 4, 2014.

This banner was for the release of Warner Brothers' "Godzilla." I'm a fool for Godzilla. It ran from May 12 to May 18, 2014

This was the Squiggle for the week of July 4th, 2014

This Squiggle ran during the week of Comic-Con, July 21 to July 27, 2014.

This Squiggle ran during the days of October 27 to November 2 of 2014 to observe Halloween and the Day of the Dead celebrations.

This ran during Valentine's Day, February 9th to February 15th, 2015 (because Valentine's Day is a week long affair).

This Squiggle ran from June 28th to July 5th in support of the United States Supreme Court's decision for same-sex marriages on 6/26/2015.

This banner was created to celebrate Shark Week. It was supposed to run from July 6th to July 12, 2015, but it ran until July 16th instead (because sharks can do whatever they damn well like).

This banner was in commemoration to Alfred Hitchcock's birthday on August 13th.

This Squiggle ran from September 7 to 13, 2015, and it was in acknowledgement of Google changing their logo (no matter how boring-looking it is now).

This colorful banner ran during the week leading up to Valentine's Day in 2016. Did you remember to get your Valentine something, or did you spend the night in the doghouse?

This Squiggle was in memorial of the passing of the musician, Prince, who passed away on April 21, 2016. All hail his purpleness.

This Squiggle ran from July 18 pass July 24, 2016. It's another banner commemorating the San Diego Comic-Con. You don't attend SDCC; you survive.

This Squiggle was to commemorate the passing of my friends' dearest pet, Reggie. It ran from March 20 to March 25, 2017 (or somewhere thereabouts).

Holy Tributes, Batman! This banner was a tribute to the passing of Adam West who was best known for being Batman on a TV show in the 60's. It ran from roughly 6/10/2017 to 6/17/2017.
